Jeremiah 15:1
Even if Moses and Samuel were to stand before me, my heart would not go out to these people.
Israel had sinned against God over and over and God was getting ready to punish her and the land. Now the Word of God is clear, that we (the church) are unnatural branches grafted in, if He did not spare the natural why do we think He will spare the unnatural? The Church is fallen into darkness as Israel has, OT had Mose's and the law, NT we have Jesus and grace; we speak Jesus but our hearts are far from Him. We are unforgiving, unloving, liars, thief's. We are unchanged, we are still born babies, started out right but we aborted the seed of faith by rebellion.. We use grace as a license to sin not the means to be holy. Look at the church today, body piercing, tattoos, women wearing tight body fitting clothing that men who are seeking God are distracted into dark lusts of their hearts that they are battling to overcome, where are the ministers, the preachers to make the sanctuary a holy place where God comes and meets His people. Church today is like a social hall, so much chatter, no reverence for the sanctuary, to be still, to be fearful, because all were expecting the King of kings and the Lord of lords. There was a time when I was young you were stopped at the door of the church if not properly dressed, Deacons job was to watch that all was being reverent and in expectation of the Holy Spirit. Which by the way many say "O the Spirit of the Lord is here", No He is not, but churches have been drinking from muddy waters so long they do not know what clean water tastes like. Some ministers feel it is the Holy Spirits job to convict people to act right, do right, dress right, but Jer. 15 makes it real clear, their suffering was because of the king that lead them...

Choices

Christian Glitter by www.christianglitter.com

Choices, When the hour of our salvation comes by the power of the Holy Spirit we have a choice to receive Christ or reject Him. After we receive Him, we have a choice to obey Him or continue to walk in sin. Heaven and Hell is our choice not God's, for it is His will that all be saved! This past Sunday my pastor preached on Choices and the losing of your salvation, this is a serious split of opinion in every church and every denomination. Once saved always saved, or you can lose your salvation if you continue in sin. Jesus states in Mat 7: Many will come to me on that day and say Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in your name, cast out demons in your name and do miraculous healing in your name, and He will say "Away from me you worker of iniquity for I never knew you" 1John say's "He who says he loves Me and yet does not obey Me is a liar and the truth is not in him" Paul said, if we barely make it my the skin of our teeth what say you? I am from the school of Hebrews, I believe you can be deceived into believing you are going into the kingdom of God, but they will face the Jesus of Mt 7. Our soul is to valuable to gamble away eternity. I have sister's in Christ who will disagree, but then I have to question, do they disagree because of the comfort of their sins, that sin has deceived them into believing a lie? My soul is to valuable so I choose the narrow path. More is spoken on the lose of salvation then on the security of it. I will end with this, Proverbs "The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord".

New Beginnings

Well another Sunday morning... Today we had another one of the asst. pastor's preach, (our pastor will be back next Sun.) This Morning it was on new beginnings. How people make new year's resolutions and never keep them. How we as Christians when we become born again have a new beginning with our life. The old life is passed away and we have a clean start with God, a clean slate. It is the journey of that new beginning that will tell the difference between if it was real or only emotion or religion. Are we drawing closer to God or farther away? Are we changing daily to over come those things that does not please our heavenly Father, or are we the same?
Are we easily convicted of sin or are we impartial? Are we grieved because we have not over come or is our conscience seared? As the new year begins, let us stay firmly committed to Christ our Savior for soon we will stand before Him. And if we are back slid den, let us go to war by turning off our TVs and setting aside any other idol that besets us and get on our knee's for we are fighting the fight of our lives, we are fighting for our soul's which are eternal and once we leave here there will be no second chances.
God Bless you
and have a wonderful week

A Christmas Poem

Twas the night Jesus came

Twas' the night Jesus came
and all through the house,
not a person was praying,
not one in the house..

The Bible was left
on the shelf without care,
for no one thought
Jesus would come there..

The children were dressing
to crawl into bed,
not once ever kneeling
or bowing their head..

And Mom in the rocking chair
with babe on her lap,
was watching the Late Show
as I took a nap..

When out of the east
there rose such a clatter,
I sprang to my feet
to see what was the matter..

Away to the window
I flew like a flash,
tore open the shutters
and lifted the sash..

When what to my wondering
eyes should appear,
but Angels proclaiming
that Jesus was here..

The light of His face
made me cover my head...
was Jesus returning
just like He'd said.

And though I possessed
worldly wisdom and wealth,
I cried when I saw Him
in spite of myself..

In the Book of Life
which he held in his hand,
was written the name
of every saved man..

He spoke not a word
as he searched for my name,
when He said "it's not here"
My head hung in shame..

The people whose names
had been written with love,
He gathered to take
to his Father above..

With those who were ready
He rose without sound,
while all of the others
were left standing around...

I fell to my knees
but it was too late,
I'd waited too long
and thus sealed my fate.

I stood and I cried
as they rose out of sight,
Oh if only I'd known
that this was the night.

In the words of this poem
the meaning is clear
the coming of Jesus
is now drawing near...

There's only one life
and when comes the last call,
We'll find out that the Bible
was true after all..

JESUS LOVES YOU!!!!

Happy New Year
